Most people like swimming in the summer, because it is very comfortable to be close to water in the hot day. Besides swimming, rafting is another good choice for water sports. And I think it is more exciting and interesting than swimming. Rafting not only is it a fun way to get in touch with nature, but can be a enjoyable group experience. Going with a group of friends, family, or even girlfriend / boyfriend is a great way to relax and enjoy yourself.

Rafting has several different ways. You can choose a bamboo raft or a inflatable boat. River rafting, also known as white water rafting, can be exhilarating but dangerous. It’s easy to forget as you’re rafting quickly over the rapids that one small bump can send you into the river.

Before you go on with rafting in the US rivers, there are two important rafting gear and equipments which you must have first. You need to have a dry bag with you before you go on rafting. This particular type of bag safe keeps all of your belongings and ensures that it will be kept intact throughout the adventure.

Wear Shoes
Shoes aren’t technically safety gear, but they can help you keep from slipping if you’re out of the raft. Try to avoid flip-flops and instead opt for water shoes, sandals that are secure on your feet, or old tennis shoes.

Wear Safety Gear
Most rafting companies will require you to wear a life vest and a helmet, but even if you’re in a situation where it’s not required, you should. Even a slight shift in weight in a raft can send you into the river where drowning or hitting your head on a rock are very real possibilities.

Avoid cotton clothing while rafting, except in summers as cotton takes away the warmth from your body. Wool, polyester fleece and other synthetic materials will keep you warmer and will dry faster than cotton. Many rafting clubs have wetsuits available for rent.
